Around eleven in session 88 Schorndorf

In the late summer of 2018 meetUli LutzandAndrew Youngin the S-Bahn ... and after a number of phone calls and a few e-mails, almost a year later, the first rehearsal with musicians from Schorndorf and the surrounding area finally took place in the jazz club. The aim of uniting musicians from the   sphere of the jazz club in an extended combo and offering a platform for the potential of the younger generations - e.g. from the MPG big band - is taking shape.

WithUli Lutzthe band has a great musical director who can draw on his many years of experience as a musician, big band leader, composer and arranger. Seven horns, a fully equipped rhythm sectionKay Richteron drums and young talentMax Gerwienon the percussions guarantee a complex sound repertoire - from choral to soulful - with pulsating, crisp beats. The program includes well-known classics such as Birdland by Josef Zawinul and always new and innovative pieces by Uli Lutz that inspire!

After the band successfully completed their debut in the club last year, further concerts followed, which were euphorically celebrated by the audience.
