Percusiano Fusion at concert series "Sunday Beats"

The word "percusiano" not only describes the two words percussion &  piano, but also reflects the interaction & joy of interpretation   between Max Gerwien & Ilja Ruf. The two thoroughbred musicians met each other during their studies at the Pop Academy in Mannheim. When they first met, a musical   and human spark jumped over, which connects Ilja & Max to this day. For the first time  2022 the two wowed their audience at the Tamburi Mundi Frame Drum  Festival in Freiburg. It quickly became clear to both of them that this project   had to be continued. The duo promises a diverse program of different  music styles, emotionally & creatively implemented with numerous percussion instruments from different continents and piano.
